I received your book, From the Hand of Albert Schweitzer, as it arrived today in
excellent condition.

Glad to see that the book was written in both, German
and English (thanks for the low number :) ). As an English speaker myself with
little conversation in German, the former was well formatted, color photos are
crisp and there is much to read about. However, Schweitzer's handwriting must be
real hard to decipher as it looks like the first world chess champion, Steinitz'
handwriting. A magnifying glass must have been used to read the letters.

I
like how the book is formatted as a catalog as such the many that I receive in
my mailbox. Bold interface with emphasis on key statements within the documents.
A real nice touch. One thing I noticed was no signature chart that you
recommended for my book. Did Schweitzer's signature change over time or was the
real idea of the book based on his handwriting and not his signature?

Congratulations. Just read the book review by Bill Butts on your book. I
believer Mr. Butts is correct in saying recently the world has not paid much
attention to the influence that Albert S. had. Your book reminds us all what a
great man he was. Bill Butts has now written reviews on your book, Andreas and
mine in the Autograph Publication. I think we all should be proud of this fact

Wow, what a very interesting book!
I have been interested in Albert Schweitzer
all my life, but from the book I learned alot that I did not know about
Schweitzer before. Great reading. The facksimiles of the signed photos and
handwritten letters are very nice. Well done, Markus!!
Regards, Tove
