I got a message from the office of the junior U.S. Senator from New Mexico, Jeff Bingaman, stating he doesn't meet requests for his autograph. I'm not sure whether this applies for requests sent to his office, that his staff doesn't handle autograph requests, or if it's his practice if you ask him in-person.
Anyway a very strange policy from junior senator...
